Give me a call or an email so we can have a chat, we can talk dates, venues and style of ceremony. I will then ask the two of you to complete a questionnaire individually (this way I get to be super nosey and really find out what makes you tick as a couple) We’ll then meet at your venue about 6 months (if we have that much time) before your big day, so I can really get to know the two of you and exactly how you want your ceremony to be. Grief is one of the most powerful emotions we as human beings will ever experience, so please rest assured I will work with the utmost respect for your family to help honour those you have lost. I would organise a meeting where we can discuss all the things you would want included in a funeral ceremony to best remember the deceased. If you wish to write your own eulogy, I can provide some pointers if required or I can write the eulogy for you from all the memories you provide during our meeting. Either way we are sure to capture the essence of your loved one. Before our meeting it would be helpful if you could think of some music choices or any readings that you would like included in the ceremony and anyone that would like to speak at the funeral or indeed write the eulogy. If that all feels like too much at the moment, I have lots of ideas that I’m happy to share.
